About the Photographer
Kelsie Richardson
Wildlife Photographer
Award-winning photographer who Specializes in wildlife photography but equipped for all your photography needs.
Kelsie was born in De Queen, Arkansas and raised just a short distance north near Gillham. She graduated from Wickes High School and attended Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma on an athletic scholarship. She later made her way back home where she attended the University of Arkansas Cossatot and met her husband,
Chris. Kelsie and Chris are the proud
parents of two beautiful children. Growing up Kelsie always knew she wanted to do something that involved working with animals. As a young girl she remembers catching grasshoppers and insects and hiding them in her backpack until one day they escaped in her classroom. She would constantly pray to God to allow her to one day show off his beautiful creatures to the world. She bought her first camera and that was it, she knew then what her passion was. She won her first few awards at an art show and fell in love with the excitement of showing her work. She goes to great lengths to get the perfect shot, whether it involves her getting in the water, getting cut up by briars, or even bitten by a snake. She loves the thrill of what it takes to get the perfect shot and she hopes it can be seen in every picture she captures.
